Snr State Trial 1: Saturday 6th - Sunday 7th March 2021

What an incredible weekend at the Snr State Trials. Congratulations to all our gymnasts who competed and thank you to our wonderful coaches, judges and parents who were videographer’s and volunteers over the weekend. Without the time and commitment of everyone our gymnasts wouldn’t be able to show off all of their hard work. Special mention to our below gymnasts:

1^st on Vault MAG Level 7 Open – Bailey Nicolai placing 3^rd Overall
1^st Overall Level 8 Jnr – Charlotte Wong
1^st on Vault Level 9 Jnr – Ashlee Murray placing 4^th Overall.

Snr State Trial 2: Saturday 20th - Sunday 21st March 2021

Congratulations to everyone this weekend. It was wet and rainy but all of our gymnasts have achieved some incredible personal bests this weekend.

With every one of our gymnasts who competed placing in the top 5 on apparatus or Overall. See below for their amazing results.

MAG level 7 Open – Bailey Nicolai: 3rd Rings, 1st Vault, 5th Overall

WAG Level 10 – Zoe Aldridge: 4th Vault, 2nd Bars, 3rd Beam, 2nd Overall.

WAG Level 10 – Lily Sharpe: 3rd Bars

WAG Level 9 – Ashlee Murray: 2nd Vault, 2nd Bars, 1st Floor, 1st Overall

WAG LEVEL 8 JNR – CHARLOTTE WONG: 1ST VAULT, 1ST BARS, 1ST BEAM, 1ST FLOOR, 1ST OVERALL

WAG Level 8 Snr – Chelsea Sutton 4th Vault, 5th Bars.

Snr State Championships: Friday 9th April - Sunday 11th April 2021

Congratulations to all of our WAG and MAG Gymnasts who competed at the Snr State Championships this weekend. We are looking forward to seeing you competing at NATIONALS. Our gymnasts have been working so hard since last year with no competitions and limited training due to covid, everyone’s come back has been so special and it is thanks to our whole support network at the gym with their coaches and teammates, at home with their family and friends and the hard work all of our gymnasts put into their training efforts. Every one of our gymnasts have placed top 5 on apparatus or Overall again.

Level 7Open: Bailey Nicolai – 5th Vault, 3rd High Bar.

Level 8 Snr: Chelsea Sutton – 2nd Vault.

Level 8 Jnr: Charlotte Wong – 2nd Vault, 1st Bars, 1st floor. 1st OVERALL LEVEL 8

Level 9 Jnr: Ashlee Murray – 2nd Vault, 1st Bars, 2nd Beam, 1st Floor. 1st OVERALL

Level 10: Lily Sharpe – 5th Bars, 3rd Beam

Level 10: Zoe Aldridge – 4th Vault, 1st Bars.

The Australian National Championships

It’s been a big week with more to come. Our level 10 girls results have come through. Congratulations to Zoe and Lily.
Zoe placing 4th overall in Australia for level 10 (14-16yrs) and Lily placing 4th overall and 1st on beam in Australia for level 10 (17yrs+) and their team level 10 placing 2nd overall in Australia.

Congratulations to Ashlee for placing 3rd overall in level 9 (15+under) 2nd on bars and 2nd on vault. Level 9 team placing 1st overall. Well done Ashlee

Our final gymnasts have competed and celebrating all of their achievements before they head home and back in the gym. Congratulations to Charlotte for placing 2nd overall in level 8 (14yrs under) 3rd vault/1st bars/2nd beam/2nd floor. Team placed 2nd overall. Congratulations also to Bailey who competed in the level 7 Open team placing 5th rings/6th vault/7th high bar and 10th overall team placed 2nd overall. Have a safe trip home everyone we are so proud of you all
