Competition Results 2022 

Snr State Trial 1 - 26th - 27th February 

Over the weekend our level 8-10 MAG and WAG gymnasts competed at the Snr State trials at Rooty Hill

From our level 8s. Sienna placed 2nd overall, all 3 girls made a huge impact after two years of no competitions and coming up from level 6-8

Charlotte and Zoe not only placed 1st in level 9 + 10 but also receiving the highest scores out of every session in level 9+10.

Bailey placing 1st on pommel and 2nd on vault in MAG lvl 8 Open.

Congratulations to everyone who competed after coming back from lockdown everyone has worked so hard and it was great to see so many smiles.

Snr State Championships

6 of our lvl 8-10 gymnasts competed at The Snr State Championships. A huge congratulations to all our gymnasts it was an amazing competition. Thank you also to everyone who came out to Rooty Hill to support our gymnasts and cheer them on. With our gymnasts scoring some of their highest results over the last 3 competitions and most of all enjoying being back in the competition arena. Below are some of the results.

Sienna Casey lvl 8 – 5th Overall, 2nd Bars

Charlotte Wong lvl 9 – 1st Overall, 1st bars, 2nd beam, 2nd floor

Zoe Aldridge lvl 10 – 1st Overall, 3rd vault, 1st bars, 2nd beam, 1st floor

Bailey Nicolai Lvl 8 Open – 4th Overall, 3rd Pommel, 3rd Rings

We would like to wish our 3 gymnasts who will be heading to the Australian National Championships later next month the best of luck and hope that you enjoy the experience.

Australian National Championships 

Congratulations to our 3 gymnasts who have returned back from the Australian National Championships, starting from our morning kinda gym programs these gymnasts have climbed to greatness with many years of hard work and education. Did you know 90 percent of our coaching staff and National level gymnasts have all started in our morning kinda gymnastics programs. With over 200 2nd generation gymnasts and now 3rd generation gymnasts in the gym our morning kinda gymnastics programs is where it all starts. 

TAMWORTH - Country Capital Cup 

Congratulations to all of our gymnasts level 5-8 who competed in Tamworth at the Country Capital Cup in June. The gymnasts had an incredible time and made many memories as we get back to travelling together and experiencing new competitions after Covid closures. We are proud of all of our gymnasts for their hard work and dedication 

A special mention to the below gymnasts, all gymnasts did outstanding placing on apparatus and improving their personal best scores. Below are the results for the top 3 overall placings in levels 5-7 in their divisions.

Level 5-7 WAG State Trials 23rd - 24th July 2022 

What a great competition, our level 5-7 gymnasts stepping back into the competition arena for a fantastic weekend. Special mention to the below gymnasts for placing top 3 on apparatus or overall for their sessions. Level 3-4 Outer City Regional Competitions

Congratulations to our level 3 and 4 gymnasts who competed over the weekend. For some of our gymnasts this was their very first competition. Well done girls we are proud of you all. GO ACADEMY

The Level 3 all round Regional champion was Yula Yashumov from The NSW Academy of Gymnastics

Equal second was Arabella Elters and Ivy Speer from The NSW Academy of Gymnastics

In Level 4 all round Regional champion was Audrey Obrovac from The NSW Academy of Gymnastics

2nd place was Isabella Franzsen from The NSW Academy of Gymnastics

3rd Lily Keane from The NSW Academy of Gymnastics

STATE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 
Congratulations to our gymnasts over the weekend bringing home some incredible results at the state club championships. Level 7 placing 2nd overall. Level 6 placing 1st overall. Our first team of level 5s placed 2nd overall. Our second level 5 team consisted of some very wonderful gymnasts who put their hand up to compete to help make a team. These gymnasts were some of our youngest ever competing level 5 and they came home with 3rd overall!!! So proud of all of our gymnasts and what a great team environment the weekend was. Thank you to all the judges coaches and families who support these gymnasts throughout their gymnastics career.
