2023 Athletes at The NSW Academy of Gymnastics 

NSW State Championships 2023 

Our girls came home with some exciting results form the NSW STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS. 5 of our girls competed and they blew us away with their achievements. Huge congratulations to everyone especially Kate who has achieved her most outstanding performance coming out of injury we are proud of you all.

Lvl 10 Jnr NSW STATE CHAMPION 1st overall. Charlotte Wong
 
Lvl 8 Snr. Sienna Casey. 1st on vault. 1st on bars. 3rd overall.
 
Lvl 8 Jnr. Kate Moreira. 6th on bars.
 
Lvl 8 Jnr: Angelina Kalabric. 3rd vault. 2nd bars. 2nd beam. 5th floor. 2nd OVERALL IN NSW.
 
Annabelle Wong. Lvl 8 Jnr NSW STATE CHAMPION 1st overall. GO ACADEMY. 
 

Australian National Championships

We welcomed home our incredible athletes who competed at the Australian National Championships. Congratulations girls, we are so proud of your achievements, and we hope you had a wonderful time.
 
In level 10 Charlotte Wong placed 4th Overall in Australia. 3rd on Bars.
Level 8 - Annabelle Wong Placed 4th Overall and 1st on Vault. Team placed 2nd Overall
Level 8 – Angelina Kalabric Placed 7th Overall and Team placed 2nd Overall
Level 8 – Sienna Casey Team Placed 2nd Overall.
 
Congratulations to their coaches Chris and Elise, Chris travelling with them to Queensland. (who were gymnasts and National athletes at the Academy themselves) Your dedication to these gymnasts, giving them your 100% best has shined through.
 
Some of these girls have been training in the gym for over 14 years coming from our mum and me programs and morning kinda classes all the way to Australian National Athletes. We are so thankful for your commitment and hard work and are excited to celebrate with you back in the gym.

Tamworth Country Capital Cup 

Our gymnasts had the best time at the Country Capital Cup over the June long weekend in Tamworth. An incredible competition full of memories and camaraderie. Congratulations to all gymnasts who competed over the weekend. Thank you to all our families who travelled to this competition. And a HUGE thank you to Tamworth Gymnastics club and Jodie for a fantastically run competition.

AUGUST - Lvl 5-7 WAG State Trials & MAG Grand Prix

What a huge weekend for all our gymnasts and coaches. Congratulations to all our MAG and WAG gymnasts who competed in some huge competitions over the weekend. 32 of our level 5-7 WAG gymnasts have qualified for State. All our gymnasts have improved on their PB’s either on apparatus or overall. And well done to the below gymnasts for placing top 4 overall or top 3 on individual apparatus. GOACADEMY!!

With our last session of level 6s placing 1st OVERALL also. The NSW Academy of Gymnastics takes home WAG club of the year!!! Thank you to all 43 of our gymnasts, their parents, siblings, coaches and judges for all of your time and support!! What a HUGE weekend we are so proud of you all !! GOACADEMY !!!
